The cAMP Hunter LHCGR eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. luteinizing hormone) based activation of LHCGR GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wild type LHCGR, a naturally Gs coupled GPCR. Upon activation of LHCGR, the increase in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to an increased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Biocolor Blyscan Glycosaminoglycan (sGAG) Isolation & Concentration Pack (100 samples). DESCRIPTION: Isolation & Concentration reagents for use with Blyscan Glycosaminoglycan Assay. Blyscan Glycosaminoglycan Assay is a quantitative colorimetric dye-binding method for analysis of sulfated proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans (sGAG). It can be used to measure total sGAG content and can also to determine the O- and N-sulfated GAG ratio within test samples. The assay uses 1,9-dimethylmethylene blue dye employed under conditions that provide a specific label for the sulfated polysaccharide component of proteoglycans or the protein free sulfated glycosaminoglycan chains. APPLICATIONS: Cell culture derived material, soluble sGAGs from fluids (ex. synovial fluid, urine), fibrous and hyaline cartilages, tissues (ex. arteries, heart, lung, skin, tumors). Soluble sGAGs may be assayed directly, solid materials will require a preliminary papain extraction.
